Assistant Contract Manager

The Role

As part of the Change and Service Department, you will join the team responsible for managing their extensive BPO contracting.  Reporting to and supporting the Scheme Administration Contract Manager you’ll be part of the day-to-day management of their largest outsourced contract. You will provide assistance in ensuring the outsource partner is meeting its contractual obligations, handle contract variations, change requests and negotiating of commercial terms.

 Your duties will include:

  • Communication and relationship building with senior stakeholders and management
  • Assist in ensuring contract processes work effectively
  • Project work and initiatives to document processes and implement best practice
  • Contractual monitoring, identifying and initiating remedies to support service delivery
  • Liaise with the Scheme Administrators commercial team
  • Invoice preparation
  • Cash forecasting/tracking for payments
  • Help produce an updated bi-annual contract

About You

You will be a good communicator with excellent analytical, project management and planning skills.  Experienced in supporting significant business process outsourcing commercial agreements, public or private sector.  You’ll be used to monitoring and reporting on delivery against contractual requirements supporting the invoice payment process, keeping up to date, accurate records and logs and experienced in drafting contractual documentation. This role will offer an opportunity for career development and allow you to be at the forefront of one of the most exciting FS reforms in recent times.
