CRM Executive

Working closely with the wider Digital and Marketing teams, this role is responsible for the effective delivery of the CRM strategy supporting key metrics such as growth of databases and revenue generation on websites. Reporting to the CRM Manager, this role will allow the sending of more targeted and frequent communications to customers across multiple touch points and languages.


You’ll be responsible for:

• Support the operational delivery of email marketing campaigns (and potentially other channels) to ensure they deliver the performance metrics and ROI.

• Works closely with the CRM Manager to devise an appropriate retention strategy and looks at opportunities to send more trigger and automated emails at key parts of the customer journey.

• Uses Ometria, our Email Service Provider, to deliver and report on campaigns. Using data to inform future decisions and planning.

• Briefs marketing and creative teams on the content need for email, ensuring this is on brand and commercial.

• Copywriting & proofreading email content.

• Design email marketing campaigns across key global markets - knowledge of HTML and Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat) are required.

• Produce post-campaign analysis – monitoring and reporting on campaign results and making recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness

• Monitor competitor email activity.

• Ensure all campaigns comply with industry best practice.

• Ensure data is managed and processed in line with GDPR and other data protection policies.

•Suggests opportunities to nurture new channels, grow the database size and deliver incremental revenue to the business.

Ideally you will have 1-3 years + experience in an email marketing role managing multiple large-scale email marketing campaigns.  Experience in building automated, lifecycle / customer journey email communications, and working with large volumes of data to report on performance.  Additionally, you’ll be a confident user of HTML, CSS, InDesign & photoshop; and ideally experienced with Ometria ESP.
