My client operates a sales and after sales service function throughout the UK and mainland Europe for a range of “high end” battery test, development, research and production equipment targeted at the industrial and consumer battery manufacturing, research and OEM markets.
Customers include research academies, technical universities, automotive manufactures, Formula 1 race teams, battery and cell production companies, UPS & data centre customers.

Suitable candidates will ideally have gained experience working in a customer service facing role providing a high quality level of on-site service. Applications are encouraged from service engineers coming from a wide range of capital equipment sectors, including medical and laboratory test devices, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor, ex-forces, office equipment and ATM.
It will be your responsibility to carry out the routine service, maintenance and calibration of systems including troubleshooting on customer equipment both in the UK and Europe. The role will involve some fault finding to module level, installation and support of software updates and system calibration.
You will have field service experience together with good electrical/electronic skills. Experience of working with high and low power DC and AC power systems is preferred. The ability to work to schedules both as part of a team and alone is necessary as is excellent communication skills. A keen “can-do” attitude and a will to succeed are important.
Salary & Package:
Circa £30,000 depending on experience, skill level and qualifications. Mileage allowance for use of own car. Provision of company laptop, mobile phone, fully expensed travel, medical cover, airline VIP lounge pass, company credit-card and 29 days’ annual holiday including public holidays.
