Job Description

An award-winning and growing company are looking for a part-time Accounts Administrator to provide support in their accounts department.  The hours are likely to be 9am – 12noon or thereabouts, to offer continuity to the business and consistency in productivity.

It’s a new role, so the tasks are likely to evolve as you become more confident.  Essentially the role will involve undertaking routine daily essential tasks. You’ll need to be able to remain focused with excellent attention to detail to plough through data inputting tasks and reporting.  If you can keep a good sense of humour whilst ensuring all the data that you process is accurate and timely, then this could be the job for you!

In the first instance you'll be downloading invoices into excel from suppliers, printing bank statements and entering sales invoices, credit notes and purchase orders onto the NAV system.  You’ll need to be a competent user of Excel and a stickler for attention to detail.

Ideally you have worked in an accounts department previously with a good understanding of the types of documents that are processed and their impact on the business.  You’ll be accurate, reliable, and confident to take on a new role and make it your own.

On offer is a pro rata salary of between £17,000 and £19,000 based in a 40-hour week.  For 15 hours a week this would be between £6,375 and £7,125 per annum.
