£20k-25k Northampton based Award-Winning Consumer Products
This is an award-winning international brand leader who are experiencing rapid growth as demand for their products increases. They have more than doubled in turnover year on year reaching £11m in 2019 and are predicting doubling again in 2020. They have a multi-channel operation selling into retail markets worldwide.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager and working closely with the Demand Planner and Inbound Warehouse Team. You'll be responsible for creating purchase orders and tracking their progress, preparing documents for domestic and international suppliers, which can be FOB and FOB direct to international customers; to meet forecasted demand and safety stock requirements. You'll be excellent at maintaining reports and will create the shipping schedule handing over to the inventory team once goods are in transit
You'll be from a fast-moving operation with experience in purchasing environment. You'll be able to work well with others and be good at using your own initiative. You'll be well organised with good attention to detail; and you'll be numeric with a good understanding of critical paths and lead times. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) would be an advantage. It goes without saying that you're excel skills will be good.
